The Canucks should seal the deal tomorrow night. Marty Turco needs a witchdoctor to break that playoff hex spell he has. For some reason Turco, no matter how many shots he faces or how many big saves he makes he cannot win a close playoff game and that is the whole idea about having a quality netminder. Turco dominates in the regular season and takes a nappy time in the spring....9-17 playoff record and only one ...yup one playoff series win since he's been Dallas. In playoff seasons since he came here he is 6-6, 1-4, 1-4 and is 1-3 this year...not what you want out a starting goaltender.Last edited by Shawn Lutz; 04-18-2007, 09:26 PM.shawnlutz.com

PS: YOU ALL WAIT COME FREE AGENT TIME AND THE SEASON THAT FOLLOWS
Once we get Briere and dump Pitkanen, the Flyers will be a force to be reckoned with. Now if only Ed Snider will step down...Scott

You did watch the game last night, right?? Ther hasn't been a better third period in hockey in a LONG time, and it was probably the Wild's best game of the year!
But the shittiest officiating I've ever witnessed...

this year I want Ducks to win.... because of Selanne."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

With that said, even though the played well, the officiating of that game was sub-par, and there will be fallout in tonights game because of that."
Better? Thanks for helping me to see the errors of my ways, Ron!
Selanne is good - could prove to be our un-doing, but I think we're carrying a lot of momentum into tonight's game. You can bet the Boogeyman will be heard from tonight - I hope some of the Ducks have eyes in the back of their heads - they'll need it!! I think some scores may be settled tonight after the brilliant display of POOR sportsmanship by the Ducks on Tuesday. Even if you're an Anaheim fan, you have to admit they really turned ugly at the end of the game - 2 on 1, blindside punches, going after a guy during a goal celebration... Very poor sportsmanship. Tonight may be ugly.

San Jose.... 3-1 against Nashville...
Tomorrow = time to take the series!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, this is a NHL First... two teams with over 50 wins each facing each other in the first round of the playoffs.Last edited by xenophobe; 04-19-2007, 10:46 PM.The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.
