That Stars-Canucks game was ugly and while a lot of the calls were justified, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to them, especially in the third period. That game ended up being one penalty situation after another.

Oh well, on to the second round and hopefully I do better with my picks for the pool I'm in.

Ha, Never. While the rangers are hot atm, Buffalo has the best team in the league. It'll probably goto game six or seven, but unless there are some gay-ass penalties / injuries I don't think they can take them.

Henrik is God, we're gonna win, buffalo always tanks somehow, so why not to my hapless Rangers who I suffer with every year?-lol
I'm not expecting to beat the sabres, but I know they're not gonna push us around that's for sure.

I'm enjoying watching the Canucks win as a "boring defensive team" more than I did watching them lose as an offencive team for the last 10+ yrs since the finals in '94......they just need Cooke back for more energy, they're flat without him (always are)........

The Gaybres won all 4 of the regular season games, 3 of them shootouts, you'll see, you just may be surprised by the rangers, they're finally all healthy, and that Norwood factor could still be lingering. Lundqvist is leading in 5 goaltending categories since dec. 30th. I know, I know, the rangers suck, but watch Avery annoy the living hell out of the whole Sabre team. we've got the best pest and goalie right now, and never count out Brodeur, although I hate the Devils a whole lot.
