well, let's look at it realistically, it's no easy task to pitch to Big, oh I hate that gay name, David Ortiz and hammy Ramirez at all for any pitcher. Don't fret, we had minor leaguers pitching all weekend, it's cool. Ahead in spring , back in fall, this will be a good character test for the yankees, I didn't even get mad believe it or not. there was nothing left to break after friday night-lol
Don't forget they started out 11-19 two years ago, and what happened? we'll be back, sooner or later, hopefully sooner. If it was late august i'd be concerned, this week we'll heal up Wang, Moose, and throw Pavano into my basement so i can weld him to my basement wall and swat him a few hundred times. What a bust. sox up 3-0, but it's still april.

We're ok. Best to get swept in April than later. Nice display of power there. Not only were they homeruns, 3 of the 4 were moon shots. (Varitek's was a pussy shot). (Kind of like Jeter's)

Dice-K didn't impress me the first 5 innings. We were hitting him hard. It wasnt until 6th and on when his ball started to move.

Ok,............I'll be the Yankee bullseye target today for you jubilent Red Sux fans........ .

certainly an exciting weekend, but i'm also well aware of your current pitching woes. they're wins that i'll happily celebrate, but it's a long season, yo.

Not a one. A litttle breakage on fri. night , but after that I was quite optimistic. As a whole, we lost every game by one run and that was against you're best pitchers , and our fifth grade farm system, so I'm not worried a bit.
If I could be guaranteed that Pettitte, Wang, and Moose don't get hurt the rest of the season, the yankees are still the team to beat and we'll be fine. Rivera has thrown only 20 innings since August of last year, he needs to warm up, this is not the end of mariano Rivera as the morons on ESPN say. God what a bunch of deadbrains they have on baseball tonite now, once my favorite show, now it's like the most pathetic show going. i know more about the game than John Kruk-lol
Rivera has blown a few saves in each of the last 3 or 4 seasons in the very beginning and went on to being the great closer he is. Let's see what Wang looks like tomorrow, and go from there. We got all of their starters out of the game at least, and was the only plus about the series. Then again, Schilling went 7 i think, or 8. Otherwise i've never seen the sox bullpen look so good. I'd like to to get in the box against J.C. Romero though just to see if I could smack one into short right field for a nicely roped single. I'm convinced i can do it. Our bullpen, is non existent. I say we pony up for Lidge from the Astros, everyone else says he's done. He just needs a new team, and i'll gladly taske him.

Yeah those ESPN guys are a bunch of dill holes. Writing Mariano off is pretty damn stupid. They were saying some stupid shit about Jeter also. To busy kissing A-Rod's ass. Besides a few more errors than usual I fail to see how Jeter is becoming their wiping post all of the sudden. To be honest I didn't think the Sox starters looked as good as they had in previous games. Especially Beckett. He seemed a bit nervous and wasn't trusting his stuff. Schilling was almost the same though. He isn't getting any younger but he can still get guys out. I think Dice-K was nervous about his first time pitching to the Yankees. Like I told you the other day. The bullpen has been a huge surprise. Now if it can only stay that way through the season. See ya next weekend.

good points, health is the key to the playoffs. I'm applying to be the yankeees trainer, cuz this new guy must be from Boston, someone goes down everyday, Posada, , Damon, etc., 1 guy down , o.k., 8 guys down? coincidence? not a fukkin' chance, fire the bum. I want Pavano's head on a pike to help decorate my victory garden in the yard. There's no vegetables, or really any garden in the backyard at all, I just want his head on a pike and let's leave it at that. Let's go Rangers!!!! i'm a little distratcted, no , that's bullshit too, alli doo is watch sports, or watch sports radio on T.V.-lol it's a feeble existence but I like it.

I wanna be the bench coach so I can hand out some xannys.

Giambi looks like he's on a paranoid uppers kick. Twitching and looking around at home plate like somebody is about to snipe him. Needs to r e l a x.

Wright needs a time out over by the bat rack.

Nieves....................? I could do the same thing he's doing with a whiffleball bat and blindfold. (in all fairness to him, he did rip the cover off off Dice-K's fastballs, though Lowell and Petroia were standing right there ).

We did good. What's the worst that can happen? We get swept or something like that ...................................hey .................wait a minute.

                              Don,
Posada's thumb looks like Fred Flintstones when it gets crushed right now, can't expect much out of Nieves, Tampa will steal on him all night tonite, Giambi is finally starting to swing well, so if it's speed , then that's just what it will have to be. We lost by one basically to their number 1 lineup, don't you worry Donny , we always get it together, we just may have to score 10 runs a game instead of 8 like the last 2 years. Way too early to make any assumptions at all except that we lost round one of many rounds to come. Feelin' down, put on the 5 gamer from last year, i have it if you want to borrow it.
Easy Don, it's the Yankees dude, we'll be there in the end.
