I lived in the SF Bay Area during that time so I was right on top of that. It trully was a sad story of a lot of downtrodden people trying to get out of Oakland and start a new life. To bad they chose a crazy person to lead them. Jim Jones had a persercution complex he should have kept to himself. But that doesn't seem to be the way these people work. It's way too involved. The documentaries on Jonestown are actually quite good.

We have to use humor to deal with something like what happened back then. These types of incidents and what led up to them are so off our scales of what is rational that there is no real way to deal with them.I am a true ass set to this board.
