And that you will! Golf...... you either love it or hate it. Ya gotta be bit by the bug. Many moons ago I was an 8 handicap but now I'd be lucky to break 100.
My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!
Keep your head down. As in kiss your ass. Golf is not too much fun to watch. But, it's a nice 20,000 yard walk on a 6,000 yard course.:ROTF: It takes 2 balls to walk the course without having a heart attack. It takes 20 balls to complete 18 holes.
i was a golf nut but then the kids came and with each kid born, i picked up 8 strokes and would now be lucky to break 100. My golf bag was replaced by soccer gear and weekend rounds had become soccer games. Around here there are some great courses, but the green fees will hurt unless you drive way out. I will say it is easy to become a golf junkie if the bug gets you.
I did have my day in the sun. We shot 18 holes and they let us right back on. A real golf course. I shot like par, par, par. It was great. It took me 18 holes to warm up.:ROTF: And then there was the the day that I had a real golf course all to myself. They had planned a shotgun match and they let me on before it started. I got 9 holes all by myself. But that was the same golf course where I blew out my ankle.
I killed a crow on the first T-off. He was in the fairway and I hit one of those 200mph worm burners. The ball knocked his beak off. He was cold when we got to him.
Birds look weird with no beak. I never realize that a birds beak is its entire face.
