Not to mention they have set up this liason essentially to be perjure himself so that Paris can also be sweet and innocent as pie. It sure looks that way. She always pulling irresponsible shit while trying to lie her way out of hot spots on simple life and making up lame excuses. It works for me there.. so why wouldn't here be any different? I still drive with a lead foot on occasion even tho I know I shouldn't...paying a fine won't stop her from breaking the law.

She has a month to report to jail and she will be in solitary, probably with luxuries brought in that regular inmates can't have. She won't be undergoing lesbian jail rape like an ordinary girl in her position might. Jails in L.A. are generally pretty rough. She will be protected from all that.

But I can say that lots of ordinary people also flout their DUI license suspensions. I got a DUI in 1992 and I rode the bus through my suspension, but I had to go to alcohol awareness school which included group therapeutic discussion. Half the people there drove to the meetings, and even went to the bar next door when we took out halfway break!

They would come into the meetings and basically say "Fuck this! I have the RIGHT to drink and drive and I don't care who says otherwise!" These were people with 3 or 4 DUIs who were looking at 5 years in state pen if they got popped again, but they were militant. They had somehow turned it into a Bill of Rights issue! That's kind of frightening when you think about it...

The plus side is that listening to those kooks did more to keep me sober behind the wheel than anything the school taught. I will NOT get behind the wheel with alcohol in me, period. Cabs are pretty cheap compared to at least $3,000 for DUI fines, schools and increased insurance rates. My cab ride would have been $10 including tip. Yeah, I learned.

They say the cost of a DUI is now like in the 'hood of 10,000+ after attorney. Good for you you don't drink and drive. There were a few times I probably could have gotten one when I was younger.

Oh, I had a pity party for myself for about 2 weeks after I got popped. Then on the other side of town (but 3 blocks from my apartment) a guy blew through an intersection, hit another car, and killed 4 people. One was his best friend, in the car with him. In the other car were 3 young girls, teens and early 20s I think.

He blew a .14, just like I had. I thanked God that I didn't hurt anybody and it changed my whole outlook. That's probably why I have stuck to the vow, I think of those 4 innocent people, and even the guy who has to live with that for the rest of his life. I don't think I could stand that.

Seriously, I had NO IDEA that this "Paris Hilton" was an actual person. I associated her name with the Hilton hotel in Paris France.

Ehh, she's only doing what she was allowed to do all her life. Maybe she'll get a clue, but probably not. And there's a lot of other people that do just as much messed up shit. Many of the beloved sports figures do much worse, and ALSO think they can get away with it and think they deserve to be able to. And well, THEY actually DO get away with it... Cocaine, weapons, DUI's polices chases, shootings, assaults... Celebrity status goes a long ways. And being a cute chick AND rich, she has probably been allowed a lot of slack all her life to bring her to this state.

Just being a hot chick in this world is a mealticket to most guys never requesting much accountability of them, they pretty much go unchecked no matter how spoiled they get.

As for skank, well, she's no skankier than most of the chicks that MOST of the guys here would hit on in a club out drinkin. I'm sure I wouldn't toss her out of bed. And I figure most of you wouldn't either. You can say you would, sitting there in a place you'd never get anything like that, but if it slapped ya in the face and offered up, you'd do it.
