That's the second time this has happened. I spent like $125 for a Squier and got a $100 real Fender case with it. I like that.

I had one of the coffin cases. A little longer than a regular case and too long for my guitar. Funny thing, I sold it on eBay for $45 (5 bucks more than I got it for) but could not find a box to fit it in. UPS asked $80 to make a custom box for it Luckily, the ebay winner lived in santa cruz and agreed to drive down to san jose to pick it up. Lesson learnt... Never sell anything on the bay before you have a case for it.
