When I worked down town chicago I worked at a big hotel. We used to have the International Mr. Leather show(S&M 99% gay men). $500,000 for a weekend in revenue was great. We didn't book anything else for that time period, except for the occasional oops. These people always ended up on the wrong floor. The banquet room floor was off limits to staff. Great guys to deal with, unless you were homophobic.:ROTF: Every year someone quit who would turn on a light that wasn't supposed to be off in a bathroom after hearing noises. . It was such a big convention that they sold us out (842 rooms) and had another 1000 at other hotels. They are now at the Palmer House Hilton last I heard because we treated them like shit. The first year I was there I found out what it is like to be looked at like a piece of meat. I also found out that most gay men are not girly but big and buff and could kick my ass.
