Man, did the psych yesterday morning... Three tests totalling around 1000 questions... My brain was seriously mush by the afternoon.
We'll see how crazy I am soon. Got the one on one interview with psych next week.Comment

Well, they're sending me to an Audiologist on the city's tab next Friday for more in depth hearing testing
They said it "probably" wasn't enough to bounce me, but they want to document it fully. Still doesn't sound good... I gues they wouldnt waste that sort of money if they weren't going through with it...Comment

Yup. They just want it documented so that when you retire and you have a certain amount of hearing loss, you can't claim is from the job. Saves them from a potential lawsuit. I think you're all right. She even alluded to that it was likely in case I ever tried to say it was job related, they'd have documentation of the issue existing pre-employment. Still, all I heard was "probably not" enough to bounce me...Hearing "Probably not" and "Bounce me" sorta sucks..Comment

Got the call this morn, I came home form work, and detectives just came to my house and delivered the letter in person to me.
I'm officially employed by the City of Cleveland Police Department as a Police Officer...
I start the Academy on Monday, the 15th of October! 4If I make it through, I'll be on duty around May.
