Well, you know how everyone's always asking "what gear do you have?" all the time, so posting it in your sig makes sense. Posting it in your Profile and then clicking on someone's profile rather than asking about it also makes sense, until you actually try to click through 1000+ individual profiles.

The ones I hate are the boards that allow pics in sigs but don't have a suitable size limit, so you get a laughing smilie as a reply followed by a screen-filling sig pic.

I did like the animated fish that someone (Nor?) used to have in his sig, even though it looked like an aquarium in here on some days


The one that annoys me here at the JCF, however, is all the "Post Pics of Your....." threads.

I don't mind a sig as long as it's small. Some of the guys on the Moser forum have an entire fucking photo album for a sig. That is fucking annoying. I just changed my preferences so that I don't see them.
