"Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is. ":JOSEY WALES
I usually buy Live Wire Advantage, but have one or two Monsters around here somewhere. When I was buying cables for all of my rack gear, I couldn't afford Monster for everything, so I went with Live Wire for both patch cables and speaker cables.
Analysis Plus is worth every penny. If you have invested in a quality amp, you will not believe how much more extention, clarity and immediacy that your attack actually has. Find a dealer that buys cable by the spool and you should save half off from list. If you choose a more economical Switchcraft set of plugs, it becomes dirt cheap. Bill Z needs to try these cables out with his Uber.
Monster cables. I have two and both came to me. I didn't buy them, but I did buy a Monster guitar cable.
They're way overpriced, but that's because you're paying for a cable forever, as long as you don't lose it. If it breaks they give you another no questions asked.
If you can scrounge the cash I'd say bite the bullet and get Monster cables.
