My favorite combat flight sim was TIE Fighter Collector's CD-ROM way back in 1997 or so. Don't know if it counts for this though, since it's not really modeled after real physics...

I played MS Zones Fighter Ace for years. I like the Janes sims. I have a couple more I should download but I kinda fell off in play after MS Combat Flight Sim 2. I have Saitek X36, I paid a good penny for when it was new, but I've barely used it... takes up alot of room.

I'm kinda lookin for a really good WW1 flight sim.

I started with Red Baron on INN. Then moved to Air Warrior and AW2. I have played Aces High and War birds. Warbirds was what I was playing most recently. I have been in a few squads over the years.

Warbirds was good way back in the day. Fighter Ace used to be a cool one too.
