  • Road Hazards

I usually have close calls with deer when I go out at night. Tonight I came over the top of a hill and there was a cow in the middle of the road. Just goes to show you that if it ain't one thing it's an udder. I safely got around it.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

Was it the 6-string or 7-string version? (C.O.W.) :ROTF:

Hey, as long as everyone else is cracking rotten eggs....

Anyhoo, glad ya made it out of there in one piece. I was coming home form work one night and apparently a transformer had blown because the street lights were all out. I rounded a curve and just barely saw a BLACK cow (moo cow, not Jackson COW ) standing in the road. If he hadn't turned to face me and my lights caught his eyes, this message would never have happened
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

D'oh! I clicked this thread to see a Rhoads Road Hazard Yellow!! Double d'oh!

I knew a couple that hit 3 horses one night with their car. The horses were standing in the middle of the road in pitch dark. They hit the horses at full speed without breaking (about 40mph I guess). Result was an almost totalled car, both man and wife wearing neck support (whiplash) for the next month, two horses killed with horse legs flying all over the place. One of the horse's body rolled over the top of the car.

I pray it will never happen to me. Imagine the scene. You stop the car. Pitch dark. Car is ruined. Horse parts all over the place. Imagine the blood mess. The "surviving" horse limping around making unbearable sounds

A friend of mine in H.S. hit a horse w/ a 63 Ford PU. Its body ended up on the roof smashing it down on him , broke his neck and sliced most of his fingers off , as they were still on the steering wheel when the roof crushed down, what a mess
