I don't know if any of you guys have ever looked at the "Week in Pictures" segment on MSNBC. I check it out once in a while, sometimes has some pretty coool pics. The first pic for this week is just flat out gut-wrenching. Very powerful and painful.

Some people might say that is the price we pay for democracy and Liberty.

One mans freedom fighter is anothers terrorist...
Another pawn sacrificed by the US govenrment in its drive to impose its foreign policy on the rest of the world, or a man who died trying to bring freedom to those who don't have it? Whatever the reason, a brave man and a loss to humanity, I feel for his family and loved ones.

yeah my brother in law is heading back over there this summer.
we are not happy, but it was his decision to re-up. he did 8 months there about a year ago. marine reserve medic.
