OP: Don't get huge bouncer-like unless you want to look like an ogre and have everyone think that your brain has gone on vacation. Strong and tone but still fitting in regular clothes is the goal.

On a sidenote, does anybody else have trouble finding 30" waist pants? I'm 30x32 and have the hardest time finding any.

Let me be the first to say I've got no shortage in the women's department, but I've noticed (and some have told me this explicitly) that they do not like big guys (big as in buffed up, not fat).

Also I notice a lot of women seem intimidated by it and often they are just staring at my chest instead of at my face (now I know how it feels... )

Anyways, I'm just a little bit bigger than the average guy nowadays, but I'm planning on going on a major bulking cycle this summer (as in get mofo'ing LARGE) and I want to hear about the pro's and cons in this situation before I go at it.

We've had this discussion many times over on bodybuilding.com. The general concensus seems to be that women prefer fit and trim over jacked. That is, you'll do better if you look like the cover of Men's Health than the cover of Iron man.

To a lot of women, Mr. Olympia-sized muscles are freaky looking and they don't like that look.

Designer/premium denim. Seriously. I have a 30" waist and have no trouble finding pants that fit me. And then hem them if the inseam is too long. Voila, you'll have the best fitting pants you may ever wear.
