  • Baseball fans, So Barry Bonds needs 9 more

What do the baseball fans feel about this situation?

he's needed 9 for a long time now, hasn't homered since may 8th i think. some say he's now a glorified singles hitter and will not finish the season. I highly disagree, he'll pass Aaron and then try and DH for an American league team after that.
Not helping the situation since 1965!

As far as I'm concerned he is a black eye on the name of baseball, he should have never been allowed to even get this far. Pete Rose gets a life banishment for betting on baseball and this tool has done a myriad of things and he is still going.. makes no sense

Bud Selig either has no back bone or he figures that even the bad press is good for baseball because it creates interest

I'm not sure what I think about it. I never was a fan of his so I am biased. I have always thought he is an ass.
One one hand he is an embarrassment. On another hand MLB should be embarrassed. Can you fully call the guy a cheater? Everyone else was doing it too. Plus juice is not a magic potion, what I mean here is you still have to put a lot of work in. There again is no doubt juice has helped in a lot of his recent homers. Also no doubt juice has extended his career by several years.
I still remember I'm Barry fuckin Bonds! Who the fuck are you?

I absolutely love Barry Bonds. I'm sick of all these baseball purists and the "love of the game" apologists. Have some fricken' fun with the sport and enjoy what you're seeing in your lifetime.

Juice, no joice - couldn't care less. In 25 years we'll be talking about genetically engineered atheletes. It'll be the same crap.

          Deal with it.

I hope Bonds hits 50 more.

What that man has done not only on the field but off is nothing but a disgrace....

I absolutely hate him - pure evil.

I am also the world's largest Giants fan.

Yes, there is much conflict in my life....

He'll break the record. But I hope he gets boo'd when he does. Rumor has it that Barry will be "choking up" when he gets closer, to ensure that he breaks the record in front of a homefield crowd.

I hate Barry Bonds, his image, and him as a person. Him moreso then other steroids users. This guy should have his runs stricken from his records or at least or have a big fat * by his name and record.

Let's face it, most sports (if not all) have been ruined by "enhanced" players.

I was watching a NFL Films documentary on the 76 Raiders the other night and they're talking about how fearsome the Raiders O-line was with a 260 lb. lineman blocking!

260 lbs today and you're a tight end, you have no shot of being a lineman.

It's all crazy. It's all about money.

I actually find it hard to watch pro sports anymore.

I remember the Fridge getting scolded for coming into training camp and being over 300lbs.

sports are fukkin' great, except basketball, although I'm pulling for Lebron to win at the age of 22.
C'mon, I've heard that a boatload of pitchers took, take , will take, steroids just as much as the hitters did. Everyone's looking for that edge, and I'd be too with the bread they're tossing around now. Barry is always asked the same shit by the press, steroids, steroids, steroids, he always replies with do you want to talk about baseball? If not I'm outta here. I don't blame him. Let's face it as well, the media loves to spout dirt about anything or rumour that they can find or dig up. No sports, no music, no beach, i'd have hung myself decades ago.

All I can say is that if someone took a run at me in a book claiming I was dirty, and I wasn't....you would not be able to shut me up. I'd be suing everyones ass, and screaming from every rooftop proclaiming my innocence. Barry has done neither. His silence speaks volumes.
