Is Mark using Emgs? I have the video of the whole set, it looks like the pups have covers on them but can't see a logo because of the shitty resolution..

They're insane! And tight as hell. I was in a Wall Of Death to Black Label and it rocked the living bejesus out of me. Even more violent than the hatebreed and caliban pits I was in at graspop. Some dude got his teeth knocked out and was on his knees in the dust looking for them while drinking his beer full of sand.

Randy's got the best kind of metal voice in that sort of genre since Anselmo.

I saw them a couple of months ago and got to watch his pre-show warmup. He was out there about 2 hours before set time streching and warming up on a pad. He did that the whole 2 hours. I didn't want to break his ritual so I didn't say anything to him. But he's dedicated...

When you watch him it looks effortless. Like he's not really even trying. He's one of the best for sure...

Not sure, but they may be Duncan Livewires. According to Duncan's site, he's used those pickups before.

He's used a bunch of different Duncans in his guitars, but there's a set of '59s in his signature Japanese production models available to the public. I think they sound great in mine, and it also has a chambered body to keep it pretty light. Mark's personal Custom Shop models aren't chambered, so they're pretty heavy, and I'm not sure if he uses '59s in any of them.

they are tight as. I don't normally pit, preferring to hang just outside so I stay clear of the idiots but still get a good view of the band. But LOG, I was in the thick of it. Fucking madness! It was their second trip to Oz in about 6 months too. The response to their opening slot on the KsE tour convinced them to come back and headline.

The Arena was packed to the rafters. It was something like 110 degrees. By the end of the gig, the venue was raining indoors. Which was kind of refreshing after all the heat, until you remembered that it was the combined condensed sweat of every fucker in the building falling on your head.
