      Theres many radioish bands of the 70's, but the above list is what I mostly listened to during that time period.

        early 70s
        Beatles, Stones, Clapton
        mid 70s
        Aerosmith, Eagles, BTO, Styx, Skynyrd, Outlaws, Queen, Zep, REO, Black Oak AR, Head East, Uriah Heep, Ozark Mountain Daredevils (local band), Pure Prarie League, Foghat, Frampton, Kiss
        late 70s
        Zep, Skynyrd, Yes, Foreigner, Boston, Styx, Heart, Van Halen
        just a drop in the bucket on all catagories

        just found the line up for "Summer Jam 76" went to it when I was 18, Jun.18.1976Kansas City, MO"Summer Jam 76" Royals StadiumFleetwood Mac/ Kansas/ Head East/ REO Speedwagon/ Henry Gross

          For me it was:

          Boston, Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, UFO, Scorpions, Kansas, Sweet, Heart, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Deep Purple, Rush, Styk, Queen...so many incredible bands.

                There were so many great bands in 70's.... jeez... incredibly era... Zeppelin pretty owned everything though
