  • Passed my Ph.D comprehensive

It feels good. I passed all the written and oral Ph.D comprehensive exams . Now I can start to write my thesis and I will have time to play guitar this summer. It's been months that I studied hard for the exams and did not have time to play. I just wanted to share with you guys. I will also probably buy a singlecut guitar but cannot decide between a PRS or Gibson.

Congrats. I'm sure that wasn't an easy lift.

I thought about going back for a PhD. ...Then I started making money after grad school. That was a long time ago.

Well done mate. Don't lose sight of the end goal, always easy to do when you stuck into an in depth project.

For me I am still struggling with an MSc thesis that I am beginning to wish I hadn't accepted! This does nothing to improve my guitar technique.
