I actually have one in my Kitchen. I never felt like taking it down and it is my only hardwired phone incase of a power outage. Pain in the ass to dial any numbers with a lot of 9's

actually, I think 911 was chosen intentionally to make it very hard to accidently dial it on a rotary phone
