It is unfortunate that this douchebag has the ability to draw this out for her and the other victims. But despite the occasional (and understandable) emotional setback, Kristi has remained very strong througout this ordeal. Her compassion for this douchebag's family is extremely commendable. At a time when it would be expected and understandable to think about just herself, she has shown extreme character.

I have the utmost respect for you Kristi. You seem to be handling this with such strength (helped by Tekky, I'm sure) and maturity (if that is the appropriate word to use -- I'm not the most eloquent person on this list).

Thank you all. I can guarantee that I wouldn't be handling this nearly as well if I didn't have Todd, family, and friends to support me. Like Todd said, I do have some rough moments and will for the rest of my life.But I have places like this to come to where people are supportive.

I've come to a point that I accept that there is nothing I can do to change what happened. I can't even guarantee that the guy will be found guilty or put away. I can however control the rest of my life, what I do with it, how I live. Everytime I do something good, something to take care of myself or to help someone else, I reaffirm that he doesn't get to control the rest of my life. He took control for a short time, but he doesn't get to keep control.
