I have been reading this thread but never posted. Seams like Donny was a popular guy. I remember me and him were going to the hospital the same day. I got out 8 days later and I read this thread and it really freaked me out.

I wish the best for all his family and friends and wish I would have got a chance to get to know him.

Tekky, very cool quick napkin tribute, soemthing he would have done for one of you guys I'm sure. Sundays game was tough to watch at the end, and I just thought of how the following Monday would have been at his work. He'd talk about about it all day and rant online about how pissed he is with that bumbled play. Such a true fan to the end.
I think Lori has the final tattoo ready and is doing hers soon.

Shit man. I've been off the board for awhile, and I am just now hearing about Donnie. I was fortunate to meet Donnie on a few occasions, both in L.A. and in Seattle. He always tried to come to my band's shows when we would come through town. I am actually going to be in Seattle in a few hours on this Edguy tour, and I am moving there in November. I was looking forward to getting to spend more time with Donnie. He was a great guy and always seemed to look at the world with open eyes. That's what I remember most about Donnie. He always seemed happy to be a part of what was going on and approached the world with enthusiasm. My old band will be sad to hear of his passing.

Everyone else..... Anyone going to see Ozzy when he is in Seattle??? October 18th? I would so love to go in honor of Donny, but I'll be in Australia. (no poor Brad jokes....) Seriously, it kinda bummed me out. My first concert ever was Crue and Ozzy (Bark at the Moon tour). Something we both share, a mutual love for the ozz man.....
