gotcha. we (t-mo) had the pearl first, so i guess it's only fair. there's a few curves that are being tested at work, and i didn't know that at&t had it already.
one issue with the pearl was that if it was kept in a case, it would miss a lot of calls. the case would be in contact with the little trackball, and i guess that would cause a lot of missed calls. it was supposed to be fixed with the next software release, but since my team isn't PDA focused, i wouldn't know if it happened or not. have you noticed this issue? i hope not.
personally, i can't do the whole blackberry thing because i feel that it's a leash. sometimes you can be TOO accessible.

The i-phone...or what I call the Paris Hilton phone.....over-priced and over rated....and I don't know why.
Well, I do know why...its that little letter "i" in front of the word " phone ". Other than that, it really has nothing going for it that say a TREO doesn't have.
Yeah, the touchscreen may be a little innovative, but, nothing super special. In order for it to be a decent phone worthy of the price, here is what needs to be fixxed:
3G: No broadband speed?! WTF?! I can buy a laptop for the cost of this phone.
Removable battery: Yup, its a sealed/hard wired built in unit. If it goes bad and goes dead, you have to send it and have it repaired. And there is no guarantee that the stuff on there will be saved.
Removable memory: Yes, 8 gig on board is nice, but, you cant take any photos you have to a store and have them printed by plopping a memory card into a slot.
Keypad: Texting and typing is bound to be a pain in the ass. At this price, it should come with a keyboard that connects with either bluetooth or a cable to give you a QWERTY keyboard for those long haul messaging sprees.
Also, I can dial my phone without looking at it due to the #5 key having a nubby on it plus the feel of the keys. I just wonder how many people will not use voice dial and try to dial while driving....just like they do now, but, with a more expensive phone I guess.
There are a few other things, but, these are the biggies in my opinion. This was a great phone about 2-3 years ago. But, the sheep will go to slaughter for brand/hype reasons rather than look at what they are really getting for their money.-Lou" I do not pay women for sex. I actually clicked on "Services" and scrolled down to "Other Features" for the BB, and the TeleNav GPS is available for them.

ha ha, this is funny...
The Apple iPhone vs. the Cisco iPhone
When Apple announced the iPhone in January 2007, it quickly got the attention of computer technology company Cisco. Cisco was already using the iPhone name on a range of VoIP products and services. Cisco filed a lawsuit, but the two companies eventually reached an agreement with undisclosed terms in February 2007. The agreement allows both companies to use the iPhone name.Sam

Whoa... the morons on eBay are asking a fortune for these things.
Only an absolute idiot would buy one off of eBay.
Some guy wants over $2k for one.
Someone forgot to tell him that
A) they cannot be unlocked
B) the SIM card is not removable
C) they will ONLY work on tthe AT&T network
D) THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE REGULAR PRICE.
Can't get to an Apple or AT&T store... wait until 6:00PM Pacific time and buy one at the Apple store online.
Man people are sheep.-Rick
