      Well, a side scoop on a front engine car rams air into the trunk, and a hood scoop on a rear engine car rams air into the trunk. ?

      They do look cool though :P

      Ralph, my old 83 Civic had a carb. Sadly, no hood scoop

        Actually side scoops (lower on cars like the old Shelby GT500's cooled the rear brakes.
