Wayne's World Fans Say Goodbye to Cars on a Stick

Thanks to Walgreens wanting a free standing store the cars on a stick made famous in Wayne's World (in Berwyn not Aurora) is being torn down. Mike Meyers was offered a chance to buy it, but said no.

I believe a local effort has been launched to save the structure.

On the radio (Brandmeier) today:
$350K to save it. IE: Move it further west in the plaza. (Cermak Plaza owned by Concordia Realty)

It's coming down one way or another. It needs to be refurbished. (pigeons have definitely left their mark)
