Also be careful if it's the kind that latches when it shuts. I have heard a few horror stories of small children hiding in old fridges in vacant houses. No need to discuss the rest here....

That is stylin'! Looks like 50's design! I think it would be a shame putting that thing in your cellar! Give it a good clean and make it an eyecatcher in your kitchen!

Well, here in Canada, our basements are not dank, musty cellar type basements. Usually they are properly finished living space, with bedrooms, rec. rooms, family rooms, offices, etc. I am in the process of finishing mine right now. It will have a spare bedroom/music room, a family room, a full kitchen/laundry room, bar, and workshop/office.
