WTF is wrong with me?

I whinged about noisy neighbours, now I'm whinging because my parents want me to move back in and keep hassling me to hand in my notice. My concerns are: lack of space for my recording gear (well that would be Priority No.1 ), waking my parents when I come home after work, them waking ME up at 6am so they can go to work , being lectured on how much water and electricity I use... Bah! I'm sure these were the reasons I moved outta there in the first bloody place! At least I only lose sleep on a Friday night/Saturday morning where I live at the moment. So no sleep, but good food! And the best is yet to come - they don't want me buying more guitars. Shit, I've got that DK2S coming soon.

I am almost the same age as you. After having my parents live with me for almost 6 months (taking care of my baby) I can understand your feelings. They are living with me after almost 10 years of me not living with them. Just gotta deal with it like a man! They are your parents afterall. but pray tell us why they want you to move back in with them. You can't beat the good food tho! My wife cant cook 1/2 the good food my mom can cook. :ROTF:

I think you should move back in at least for a while. But negotiate the terms of the deal in the beginning. Tell them to mind their own business .

Given the choice of you whinging on about where you live now, the landord etc. and you whinging on about living with your parents. I'd rather have neither!

Move in with them for a while, it will let you get back on your feet financially and let you get out of the shithole you're in at the moment. It will also let you look for a new place without the pressure of having to find somewhere straight away.

I'm about the same age. After dealing with ground water and leaking roof problems with my home I jokingly said I was just going to move in with them. They freaked out and told me hell no. LOL

Where my parents are (Michigan) a lot of people are losing their jobs so it's becoming more common for "grown up" kids to live with their parents.

Originally, I wanted out of this bedsit because those punks kept slamming doors. So I started staying Friday nights at my parents' house. Now my dad needs a grand to fix his car, and both parents wanna pay off their credit cards. I, on the other hand, want sleep, but don't wanna tiptoe like I'm walking on frikkin egg shells, then lose 10x the amount of sleep I lose when those arsehole punks come home for a "night in". They claim I don't eat properly, I live in a shitstate (don't clean up properly - they're basing this on ONE occasion when they came home to find I'd left the house in a mess - ONE occasion. Fuck me, talk about drawing conclusions..) and my health is deteriorating.. Blah blah...
