man I wish my sons would get the itch to play...they both have guitars but shown little interest and I'm not going to force them to practice. They are more intersted in becoming the next tony hawk or bmx riders

He sent over a friend request the other day actually... The kid is amazing... and its quite disheartening honestly.

Ive been playing for 12 years, and I couldnt play half the shit he can. Now granted, I never played for more than an hour or so a day... sometimes went weeks without playing. I think it really comes down to some people are just born with it... some arent and really have to work at it. This kid is born with it AND works at it. Insane.

Hate to cause a stink here but I was already bored after 20 seconds of that first song. That style has been done to death. Maybe he is doing it a little better than most but still, it is missing one thing, THE SONG. If that is what people want to do, then fine, more power to you, but don't be pissed when you don't sell crap for records. Most untrained ears will hear that and fall asleep.

I'm certainly gutted that I only picked up the bass at 16 and guitar at 18.
