Going to Edinburgh Tuesday... nowhere to stay for 2 weeks. Yay.

Before I moved out of the old, I told them I'd need a place to stay from around the 20th of August to the 3rd of September... I asked if it was ok if I crashed for two weeks for my resits. All was well.

I called them again during the summer to confirm and ask if it was still ok. It was.

I ask today to confirm when I arrive... and the flat is full and they can't host me.

So no one else can host me, and I arrive Tuesday in Edinburgh. Fun!

I'll call the uni Monday and see if they have a room for me. I hope so. I have no idea what else to do...

You've got no fucking chance! Middle of the Edingburgh Fringe Festival, every single hostel, hotel, B&B, park bench etc will be taken. (And they ramp the prices accordingly) Some people rent out their flats and houses to desperate entertainment industry folk, accomodation is so tight.
At this time of year Edinburgh is full of tossers trying to get their "innovative comedy" (ie. shit) series commissioned or attending dismally unfunny satirical mime shows (at 9am) etc etc. Thousands of wanker agents, comedians and producers from London go to Edinburgh..........to be agents, comedians and producers. Hmm, yeah, good one.

Avoid Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival!!! AVOID!!!

Scotland's a big place though, plenty of other places you can go, nice and cheap.
