  • I should be fishing right now.

I took the day off work. I was supposed to be going fishing for walleye today with some of the guys. I got to the marina at 6am, and it turns out there are 8' swells out in the lake. The guy running the charter says there's no point going out. So I'm back at home with beer, weed, and nothing to do.

It could be worse I guess.
    Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!

    A fishing thread!

Gotta be some other fishing nuts on the board. Let's see some fishies.

Here's a couple from a recent trip to Florida .

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work! :-)

OK, OK, I'll rise to the bait on this one............

                  It's a Tampon???????????

There, that's that one out of the way. Ahem.

Did you eat it? Fishing holds no joy for me, there are very few things apart from dead dogs and shopping trolleys in The Cut.

I'd love to catch a big fish, chuck it on the table and say "There you go Ma, get that little tiddler on for dinner". I went fishing off LA a few years back, it was great, we were hauling them out of the water all morning but the bloke I was with told us to chuck them back because they had more Heavy Metal inside them than Rob Halford. Apparently eating a Duracell AA battery would have been safer. I felt cheated.
