A good friend of mine just got hired as a guitar tech for the VH tour. He's leaving for LA tomorrow to do rehearsals, so I'll have some good gossip for you guys!

EVH: "F**kin' idiot! No, I wanted the other one. You know, the one with all the tone. Can't you tell the difference?"

(Tech goes backstage to get a different guitar, grumbles some unintelligable profanity to himself. Comes back a minute later.)

Tech: "Sorry, Ed, here's the right one." (Hands EVH the same guitar as before.)

EVH: "About time, you retard." (...grabs guitar...) "Yeah, that's the one."

Wolfy: "Daaaad?! Daaaad, where are you?"

EVH (into stage mike): "I'm on stage! Where else would I be during a soundcheck, you little choad? Now get up here before I slice some bacon off your ass."

(Tech walks away dejected.)

Got mine today, 2 on the floor for November 1 in DC

the only bummer is I am on Wolfies side, so maybe he will throw some food out to the crowd.
