Why don't you have insurance? They just don't think you're worth it?

Yes, it is sad. However, I know gobs of people who bypass health insurance and choose to spend their money elsewhere. My health insurance premium with BC/BS is $426 per month. Sure, I'd rather piss that money off on guitars or a monthly car/boat/bike note. But the fact is that at almost 50, my parts ain't what they used to be.

Something similar happened to my one knee when I was in Europe. I think 5 days of walking after not walking more than 500 feet for the previous year had something to do with it.

Of course, I kept limping around. I want to see Europe dammit! It didn't get better until we were sitting on a train for most of one day.

Health insurance for me would probably be $500/month or more. Then there are the copayments and deductibles and all the rest.

Uhm, exactly what is your question? Am I a dude? Yes, but I prefer "sir." Is that really my monthly premium? Yes. Some people pay a lot less, some people pay a lot more. My policy allows me to go to the doctor/facility of my choice with a small deductible and minimal co-pay.

                    Next!

For you alone? Yikes. Then mine would be more like $1,000 per.

Sorry about your condition Uncle F., are you sure it's an ACL tear? if so, you'd be down for a while. I can't walk right now, but for other reasons.

I don't know what the fuck it is. BTW. This knee will also lockup. I have to sit down and swing my lower leg around until it pops back. And that is why I take up two parking spaces. And all those people who rag on me for doing that can fuck-off.:ROTF:

Ah, happy memories, I once had a girlfriend who was away at college, so we'd only get together every couple of weeks.
One day, after one of my visits, she called me and told me those immortal words. I was soooooooooo proud. I just wish she could have given it me in writing to go on my CV for future prospects.

Erm, hope your knee is better soon Fett. If not, just get a parrot and change the hat.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

                            I nearly broke her back

Yes for me alone. I am not sure how it works. Is it a state thing? Everyone I have talked to says yeah that sounds about right, WTF? It sure was nice when I didn't have to pay anything when I was still working.
