Just for kicks, I substituted the name Christians for Muslims in everything that guy said, and it didn't make a damn bit of difference. Even down to the "desert nomad with a psychological disorder." Trade a Jesus for Muhammad, and it makes no difference whatsoever. I have to say, I agree with this guy. I hate all this bullshit religious victimization, Christians and Muslims alike, although in my daily life I hear it from Christians mostly.

The only way to win a Holy war is to completely destroy and kill off every last one on any given side.

Totally erase one side or the other is the only way.

Many powerful men have tried.. including "God" himself (flood)..it never works!!

Even if it DID..the same side would eventually divide amoung themselves..so even if we or they "win"..war will always be!!

War is weaved into man's DNA.. since our inception..we think..therefore we love and kill!

Hate is just as important as love. Hate is a very inspiring emotion, it makes for great metal songs..

You can't have one without the other..that is something man hasn't figured out yet. Maybe Hilary will..she's a woman..well almost!

          Man is a flawed being.
Bill is right on the money (as usual).
Look what the colonists did .
they fled England to escape being persecuted and what the fuck did they do?
they persecuted every single group that came to the American shores
just as badly (if not worse, witch trials? come on get serious).
          Man is a confrontational being.
There is a fine line between love and hate and unfortunately the 2
are weaved together too tightly for our own good.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Man is not ONLY about hate. Hate is one of the most powerful emotions. That explains talk radio. If you're a shut-in with nothing else to do, then a few doses of resentment is all you need to get the blood pumping.

Ever watch A CLOCKWORK ORANGE? It can be trained out of you. There are more subtle ways to do it. I get a few doses now and then, but mostly, I'm over it. It's ridiculous, embarrassing, and I feel like a fuckin' idiot when I get that dose. I'd rather do crack.

"Hate" works for me..it get things done...for me. But it certainly comes with a price that eats you from within...no doubt!

Whenether I second guess my actions with feelings of resentment or remorse and want to back pedal..I back pedal right into a dick in my ass..no thanks!

I'm not saying this works for everyone..not at all. If you remember in CLOCKWORK ORANGE..he went back at the end..it's what and who he really is.

a bear is a bear, a sheep is a sheep wolves are wolves and people are no different..we are who we are..be it assholes or good people. The assholes usually weed themselves out..hopefully not taking many good people with them.

Picture a big Grizzly frolicking in the woods..rolling logs over looking for grubs to eat..playing with his cubs...blue skies, ..birds singin' ..What a tranquil and beautiful creature..he's "cute" actually. Now go fuck with that bear and see what happends. Then say "oh that grizzy is a monster, what a menace ..a maneater.." yada....he's a fuggin' bear!!

We are who we are..it is what it is..fuggums.

Like that movie American History X..Ed Norton's character got respect within his circles thru fear. When he went to prison and "saw the light" and got "soft", after he got F'd in the A..his liltte bro was instantly killed..boom dead..because that fear was gone. He was no longer a threat to the assholes that wanted to harm him. If he remained that "evil" fucker that went to prison, when he got out..his little bro would prolly been left alone..let's see part two of that movie. If his dad's logic and murder made him who he was..then he prolly went "back home" after his bro was slayed by the same people he loathed in the first place..like a comfortable old shoe ..no matter how stinky..it fits.

I'm a perfect exaple..I cultivated a "persona", look and attitude that made me survive on the worst fuggin' streets you can imagine. It forced me to play a "role". No matter how big, crazy , strong any fuckers were..I always HAD to one up 'em..I couldn't show any fear whatsoever..at times I was afraid..fuck yeah!!

But I had to go into clubs where riots broke out with gun powder still in the air. I couldn't go in there with fear..they'd eat me alive. Nope, I had to go in there (crazy lookin' white guy) jack one in the chamber with a bravado bigger than King Kong and proclaim with much enthusiasm.."Who wants to fuggin' die??!!"..and really mean it!!

I played that "role" so long I became it..but we all play a role if you think about it. We ALL deal with shit we don't want to be bothered with constantly..be it bullshit at work, your girl, wife, kids, school and assholes like me..we all have to put on that game face and take care of biz or just smile and take it in the arse by your boss/whoever..then go home and motherfuck about for a year or ten.

After MANY years of seeing how that shit REALLY works and the power it gave me..that's shit is hard to let go..I don't want to let go..I like it!

Not saying it's right or fair..but ..well...

but Man would still war without religion..and have. Like that "atheist" South Park espisode..that was awesome!!

You got me on Clockwork Orange, but the truth is Kubrick cut out the last chapter from the movie. In the last chapter, Alex is reformed, he still gets sick when he sees violence, and he sees the error of his ways. I have no doubt that you're right about not being able to change, but it's really not hard to get beyond all that.

I'm not going to get into the religious debate...I have full faith and trust my soul to my saviour in the Lord, Jesus.
That said, humanity gets in the way of life. Politicians of all stripes abuse religion for political power. One is no better than the other. But to not take sides when another is absolutely trying to jam their "beliefs" down the throats of the civilized world in order to grab the power they think they can get by mere brute intimidation? I know that one thing is sure. I believe in freedom. This is the best that has been invented. It will never be perfect.
I don't know who said it, but I hold this idea to be worth dying for:
"I may not agree with what you say, but I will give my life for the right to let you say it". Thus Marines can stand proudly as the anti-war idiots spit on their shoes. Don't be afraid to identify who the enemy is...it is the enemy who will not allow a differing voice.

yes, for some..depending on the individual who cope with stuff.

Such as Post traumatic stress disorder, major depression, adjustment anxeity disorder with a touch of OCD with narsictic rage yada yada...guilty as charged..

4 xannax a day doesn' hurt..it helps me find my "center" so I can play nice with others..it helps!!

I said this before..I'll say it again. As much as I knew at age 27, married for 5 years , woring, paying the mortgage and living in Cleveland. My father who I love dearly..was "connected" and a outlaw MC prez..who was a vicious, raging lunatic in his time..and still can be.

I got on the job in early '92 and lost my faith instantly when I saw "evil" on a daily basis. I could not believe how "sheltered" and "naive" I actually was.. In hindsight I was absolutely clueless..now I know too much for my own good. "God" is such a comforting and awesome belief..I know this. That's why "God" will always exist whether you believe or not.

Man is so afraid of death, it's the ultimate "fear"..for himself, his loved ones..they MUST go to a better place...how powerful is that?? There is NOTHING more powerful than that..if you believe. Who am I steal that comfort from a good person..no matter what I think.

If there was only ONE person that believes in God..God exists.

My "doc".. now friend always tells me.."Bill "denial" is a good thing for you"..He always said the exact opposite in his 40+ years of practice..now, he tells me his problems too..well, he's human..I just understand "human" bullshit..

I understand, can somewhat understand what you're going through. No one can absolutely "know" everything. I get discouraged when I run into people who don't believe, can't be convinced, have seen too much bad stuff, etc. I can't tell anyone why I believe. I just know I have seen enough of the "other side" to know it is more true than the crap we have to live with every day. It's here, you just have to pick up that very small pearl when you find it. I can only live the word. I'm not an evangelist, can't see myself "saving souls". I have no moral right to do that. But live life. Drop the curtains and don't be afraid. You are far stronger than you think.

                                Cool,

I have found my purpose with my son. He's 12 and needs my guidance very much. I exist for him and try to have some fun along the way. I need him as much as he needs me at this time. I would not breathe without him in my life. I'm not a coward by no means but live in constant mental and physical pain that I wish to end. Death is not an option at this time. Sometimes I resent the fact that I must go on for the sake of another..but I love my son more than life..literally.

I'm done..broken..and will only get worse with time..arthitis from my head to my ass from rolling around with assholes for years..spine injuries up the ying yang..I can't waite to inherit my dad's kidney stone problem. He has a collection of pee rocks the size of rice crispies..he's going to make a necklace for me..possibly a guitar strap out of them. Boy, that would be the cherry on my sundae..passing kidney bolders..thanks dad!!

My kid is too much like me..he requires my foot in the ass ..if ever a kid needs that!!! I wouldn't be who I am without my father boot up my ass..it's still in there.

My wife would carry on..I love her. But she'll re-marry eventually and go on..her new guy will totally suck ass compared to me..but I'll be dead..so fuggums..

Far as God, Politics, Love and War..we are a package deal..man can't survive and NOT have those things. So you are secure in your belief system..you have the non-belivers completely out-numbered no matter how it seems at the time.

Religion, Politics, Peace, Love and War was here long before the JCF..and will be here until the very end...that's called "Life"..
