    Maybe this is one of those things that's hard for non-paisanos to understand, but Pavarotti was an immense icon for many of the old-world'rs. The dude had pipes for sure.

    My parents loved to watch him and the Three Tenors stuff. Ironically, my folks are in Italy at the moment. The whole nation is probably in mourning. I'm sure I'll hear all about that when they return.

    RIP Luciano.
