For those of you who are familiar with my band, Under Eden, you may know that we had to endure some label-related drama back in 2005 in order to get our first album released. Some things didn't turn out the way we wanted in terms of production (label made us remix it, then did a poor mastering job) and took some of the excitement out of being signed and putting out an album. Being that the label is now out of business and we are working on getting an EP released in the fall, it seemed like a good time to revisit the old material and pick a couple of songs for the remix/remaster treatment. If you've heard the album versions, the improvement in sound quality will be obvious. We deliberately avoided actually editing any of the tracks, so any playing mistakes that existed previously are still there, but they are pretty minor.
