WTF is wrong with a CEO of a corp making big money? If its his company he built it from the ground up he has the right to make the big bucks.Put yourself in the situation would you like to have the government telling you how much money you can make? I DON'T THINK SO!!!
Its your liberal socialist that think its just not fair someone can make that much money and they will (if they can) see to it that if you do become successful that they will take a portion of your money you earned and give it to some lazy fuckin crack head with 23 kids.
All the pro sports are just lame IMO and the people that live and die on who wins each week are just as lame promoting the tick turds egos that play the games.

Whats the difference between somebody just looking at the defensive coordinator with a pair of binoculars and learning the play calls. I tell you the difference ones is in the rule book and the other isn't. The Jets and their fans are pissed because they got their ass's handed to them. The game I watched showed that the Jets 2ndary couldn't handle Moss. I think the Patriots are idiots for getting caught. As you can tell I'm a Patriots fan. That being said if it was the other way around I would say the same thing about the Jets. I'm a fan without blinders.
Spoken like a true Pats fan. Give me an example of someone else videotaping signals. You can't, because nobody else does it. There is a big difference between watching across a sideline and video taping signals that can be studied and matched to game film for future use. The Pats are an ethically bankrupt organization who will now deservedly have an asterisk beside their accomplishments. I hope they are stripped of last week's win as well as several draft choices.

Back on topic...I agree with Ralph's post. I lost all interest in pro hoops years ago. I haven't been much of a baseball fan since the strike, and I won't be until MLB is bright enough to realize that they have parity issues that suck all of the fun right out of the game (take a peek at the NFL and NHL to see how to run that aspect of a sports league, please!). Individual personalities are overtaking the concept of a team in the NFL and are making it harder and harder for me to enjoy.

I can't wait for hockey...the last unspoiled pro sport!

I have no problem with a CEO making big bucks as long as it's done honestly, No Enron bullshit falsley inflating earnings or cooking the books to fuck hard working people out of their retirement and life savings so he can build a 10 million dollar house on the beach. The oil companies see a hurricane in the gulf and raise prices because it may damage the oil platforms out there, What the fuck is that? Your'e going to raise my prices based on something that may or may not happen? That's bullshit! I would accept higher oil prices if there were a valid reason for it, not because an oil platform might get hit by a storm. Greed is killing all things good!

CEO's can stack a team with big bucks. That's what I thought salary caps were supposed to prevent. Enter the "Lawyer". There are more loopholes in this shit than the sweater I am trying to knit.

and Bonds is the only baseball player to do steroids. If you think the Patriots are the only who have done this. Then you are very mistaken. So what happens when they win their next 12 games? What are those team going say that they cheated. I guess when Moss was covered by 3 defenders and caught the ball from Brady that was cheating as well.. or on the Patriots very first possession they marched up the field and scored. Or are you going to tell me that Patriots had enough time to decipher what the Jets D coordinator was calling. Please everyone is jumping on the "they cheated" band wagon because they got their ass's handed to them in the Past..... Look at all the teams that the Patriots won and what are they whining about... We would have won but the Patriots cheated..
That sounds like a bunch of pussy who can't take the losing. These teams are going off assumptions on what has happen last weekend. If the Patriots beat the Charger this weekend.. What will be the excuse then? That The Patriots use their l33t Mind Reading Skills.

Why wasn't Gay-Rod label a cheater when he was rounding 2nd going to third and yelled "I got it" during either the Tampa Bay or Royal game? Personally I found it funny.

i use to be a big basketball fan. now i could only name a handful of players. the image thing i think is what killed it for me. i blame MTV rap!

pro football players get on my nerves when they do even the simple things like make a tackle and then do some stupid dance. what happen to the days when a guy made a TD and just spiked the ball or hand it to the ref, then go to the sideline?

Here's my return of serve Fettster,
Firstly, I don't have the money I used to have to bet on the games to make them actually heartpounding, due to other habits, drugs, guitars,a bad marriage, etc. But the bottom line is if I dig pro sports and Ralph is losing his taste for them, I see his side, and don't lose a minute of sleep about it, nor does he that I love pro sports., who the hell gives a flying flank steak? I for one am patching up holes in the drywall in the living room after watching Ian Kennedy throw a 1 hitter through 7 last night and we lost 2-1. I love my teams, and I've never, ever changed them. If i did, my friends at home would beat me and after that go after my family-lol
It beats the shit out of posting all day. Hell, I'm wqatching sports radio on T.V. right now-lol The YES channel has the Mike and the Mad Dog show on T.v. it's unbelieveable. A sports radio station I had listened to from way back in new York is now 'watchable " on t.V. out here on the tube in southern cal, it's fukkin' great, actually it's heaven possibly.

I will watch the Seahawks. They looked OK in the first game. And I will always think of Donnie as I do. That, however, doesn't mean I have to be glued to the TV. I listen to the game as I waste my life away here. When something is up, I just swivel my chair. If I miss the actual play, I can watch them replay it ten times.
