I am actually busier now than I was when everything was booming, (construction) Slowdowns in work tend to weed out the flakes, I keep trying to retire but I keep running out of money, so I have to do remodel projects, sold a bunch of feeder calves yesterday, and got a good price for em, so I guess the economy for me is okay, (Negger eh, better than a renegger )

Horrible. Im working 10x harder, and making 1/3rd less money. Between property, state, federal, sales and gas tax, about 50% of my income is going to the government... Im barely scraping by as it is. Only way to buy gear is to sell some first. Cant eat out or go out with friends much anymore. Looking for a new house because we NEED more room (one on the way) but most of the good deals I find come along with $5,000+ property taxes which I cant afford.

The cost of living is going up, but noones making any more money.

I think its pretty fucking sad that we as Americans cant buy a house where we want because the property taxes are outrageous around here.

All in all, I think were headed for a depression. With all the jobs being outsourced, all the illegals taking jobs, using public services and NOT paying taxes, the trillions of $ worth of debt our "leader" has acured, and the government taking more and more any way they can, its only a matter of time before us "little" guys have nothing more to give.

It makes me sick to my stomach when I think about it. The government was supposed to be for the people by the people. Now its for the government by the government. Our founding fathers never intended this, how did we let it get this bad?

Bingo...this is a huge problem/issue.

Lets have the legal Americans have a day of protest and watch the devestating effect it most definitely will have.
Banks, Walmarts, courthouses, public services, Dr's, lawyers, small and large businesses all and etc would feel the one day protest.
These little illegals need to get with it or get out.
Most Americans are not happy about these illegals not having to pay taxes,
as well as other issues about immigration.

Even though at this juncture theres not thing that will get done about it,
its still the biggest load of BS I seen in the history of America.
Its a shame and most that had any balls about themselves,
would say, learn to speak English and PAY TAXES like you should or get the out!

Most Americans know the immigration system is screwed up.
But for crying out loud, letting them work a 40 hr a week job with no legal citizenship and no paying taxes. Even a portion of tax laws cater to them. These idiots got it made and still belly aching over what? Fair wages, fair opportunity? You have no such rights, your illegal.

Every former administration in the last 20 yrs dodged it and pushed it off on the next hoping the next would deal with it, and because of such deliberate political and economical neglectful passive stupidity we have the mess we have. I don't entirely blame the illegals, I blame the past leadership too.
But dang, these illegals need a national day of protest for what?
Gimmie me a break, its the biggest load of BS I've seen in a many years.
Deport the illegals back to Mexico. I want a day of protest for the genuine legal Americans, God knows I'd be there in a heart beat if it every would happen. America has grown weak nothing but a bunch of pu$$@* anymore.

Sorry but this issue burns me down deep.
The intersting thing is, my grand baby is part mexician, my nieces and nephew are part black, and I'm over half indian. My side of the family are all mixed BUT were all LEGAL and PAY TAXES. You can clearly see this isn't about prejudice. They are criminals and are being rewarded for it.
To be an illegal citizen, a crime is committed and deportation is usually the consequences.
Not giving them a 40 hr a week job and no taxes.
They are illegal, they don't have the right to protest, a job and pay no taxes.
However, its apparent they do.

Oh, to answer the main question.
I live from pay check to pay check, I'm a working man, a survivalist.
If the doors close or whatever happens I'll keep working some how some way
cause I need a pay check.
