Yeah, you can tell he's making up for the fact he can't hit half of the ntoes anymore. Ed sounds like he knows how to play again. To his credit though, Wolfgang doesn't sound bad, but he looks almost bored up there.

Man, Wofie is one of the best bass players in history. He super-charged Van Halen big time. Van Halen never sounded better. Ed is on fire, Alex is the best drummer in the world , Dave never looked or sounded better in his entire life, listen to the high notes..who needs Mike Anthony..he's not worthy to tie Wolfie's shoes. He's a pudgy prodigy with wicked moves!!!

BTW I have pics of me playing one of Mike Prototype basses he sold to a friend of mine. It's a fretless..they're old 35mm pics, so I can't post them..but I have a bunch of pics, demo, video, shirts, flyers, cards of my VH trib!!!

But after watching the REAL DEAL..I can honestly say we sounded NOTHING like them and sound like Jerry's kids in comparison. Wolfie kicks my ass..he's a fuggin' monster!!!

I don't care if I have to pay $1000 just to stand outside the venue to hear the vibration of Wolfie's awesomness tingle my balls..I'll do it!!

The red and white striped messiah has returned..It is officially Van Halen Easter. Let us stripe eggs in their honor!!!!

This is what everyone waited for 23 years for..it's mindboggling..that was the best performance I have ever witnessed..I mean ever!!

That was probably recorded with a cell phone, my man. I think it's a little more Hi Fi in person. As for Dave, his voice has been shot since the first album, but that has never been the point. I thought he sounded great.

My opinion, if DLR could could get his timing down better, he might sound ok.
I wouldn't advise him coaching Wolfie onstage like that, though. I see a huge bitch fight coming on.

Nice to see EVH plugging the Frankenstrat. Think I'll save my $25k and buy a Wolfgang instead.

Speaking of Wolfie, he's in the background as a bassist should be. Ain't gonna miss Michael Anthony's bass playing. But they need to hire a backup singer that hides behind the curtain as Wolfie lip syncs. That sounded like me droning in second grade when the nun said I had a tin ear and should stop singing because I was lousy and awful.
