Kiss - King of the Night Time World - Alive 2
            Kiss - Shock Me - Alive 2
Kiss - Tomorrow And Tonight - Alive 2

Some one gave me the first album to the Alive 2 set and after listening to Ace play those licks, it was over. I had to have a guitar. It was a long time before I ever got the second album in the set.

Ace will always be the standard for me and the one that got me into guitar.

I cant really name three songs that influenced me, more like one band, but the one song that made me go out and buy a guitar was

                      Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath

if I do it by album...

None, I orginally wanted to be a bass player, but my Dad said, "Learn Guitar First, So You Can Switch Back and Forth!"

I can now say I have never bought a bass, or picked one up off the ground/stand with the intention of buying it.

but when I started playing guitar I was Into Slayer, Pantera, Iron Maiden...

I have since "mellowed out" and am Primarily a Hair Metal and Power Pop guy (White Lion, Cheap Trick, Enuff Z'Nuff etc...)

                          Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
                          Metallica - Sanitarium
                          Metallica - Enter Sandman

I started playing my brother's guitar in his room when he wasn't home. Needless to say, he had the tab books for MOP and the black album.

I actually wanted to play guitar all my life, even before I knew any popular music. But I supposed what finally made me nag my parents enough to let me get a guitar was:

                                Renegade - Styx
                                Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Not sure what else; quite likely "Shock Me" from Alive II

I'm still a huge Tommy Shaw fan. Not an incredibly technical guitarist, but he gets the job done, is a great songwriter, and has a great voice.

                                - E.
Good Lord! The rod up that man's butt must have a rod up its butt!
