We have free speech . He isnt an american so our constitution doesnt apply to him. Just like you dont have any constitutional rights here. The Freedoms we have here are for americans only and not a foreign dictator. Also this guys is in bed with the russians developing nuclear weapons so you better care dude. If he sets off a bomb in america your country will get some fall out.
If I'm not mistaken, the Bill of Rights is applicable to anyone, regardless of nationality, political attitude or general assholiness.

This reminds me of the 80s when everyone vilianized South Africa and said if they ever get the bomb, they would nuke all their neighbors. Then in the 90s everyone discouvered they did in fact have the bomb, 6 war heads to be exact, and no one got nuked. Iran probobly already has the bomb and has had it for sometime. You guys can go live in fear, but remember around the globe, Iran has a better reputation than the US. More people on this globe are fearful of Americans with the bomb than anyone in Iran with the bomb..............

Citizen or not, these basic rights are afforded to all persons.

I wouldn't go that far, unless you are counting the Middle East, China and France as "the rest of the world".
If most of Western and Eastern Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico, South America, Africa (as a whole), India, Japan, Spain, and Italy are really worried about American nukes, I'd be surprised.
You are right to a point though, our rep is a bit tarnished on this. I'd be hard pressed to bill the USA as the boogieman unless you are really out of touch.

Weak?!? No, the world views you as an absolute agressor with a caveman mentality. World politics is like playing chess, but the US doesnt understand that. For instance, the US tells everyone that Iran are blood thirsty savages and supress human rights. Iran tells the Muslim world that the US are blood thirsty savages and supress the rights of Muslims. One day the US allows the Iranian leader to speak on US soil. If he gets assassinated, the Iranian leaders must have been right. If he speaks and comes back home without insident, then maybe there is something to think about. Maybe when he said that about the US, it wasnt true. If thats not true then what else has he said thats not true?.....
When a country is given freedom its meaningless. Just look at Iraq. When a country fights within itself for freedom, it means something. Planting a seed in the minds of Iranians is a better chess move than trying to get involved with them in a war, handing freedom over to its citizens, and then having rebellion against you because you've just proven that you are the blood thristy savages the previous dictator said you were.................

Let's both go to the beloved example of freedom, Iran, and have this kind of debate. Because I would have to puke if I hear any more of the hippocracy that comes from the deep corners of either side of the political spectrum.
But we can do it, and we fight for the right to do it.

Iran is what it is. The middle east is what it is. The fact that our president thinks that democracy will work there is quite laughable...
I'm not concerned about what goes on in Iran. I'm more concerned about places like Saudi Arabia, North Korea, China, than Iran. I don't see them as a huge threat. But they see us as one. We would feel the same way too if North Korea came in and invaded Mexico and tried to set up shop. I think we would have a big problem with that...

I appreciate that freedom most of all. I can't defend the United States' actions in the world, but I will do whatever it takes to let anyone have the opportunity to debate, and determine their destiny, as we can.

If you want to do whatever it takes to let anyone have the oppotunity to debate, why not let the leader of Iran speak with freedom of speech. As for idealogy, yes libertarians are too scary for most Americans...............
