Ok, Saturday nights show. I almost NEVER wear shorts, but with my trusty friend the knee brace, very few pants will fit over it, and it's not really meant to be over pants..anyhow...I decide on shorts. Do I think to call anyone else and see what they are wearing...NO (we're a metal band for fucks sake) so here you have....the CAMO triplets:ROTF: but, ya gotta admit, that RR5 sure is sweet!!

I've seen Anthrax, Pantera and a few others called "shorts metal" here and there, but I don't think any of them had that level of coordination!

I was told by one of my bandmates that I broke a sacred rule of metal by wearing above-the-knee shorts at our last show. I was all set to wear some urban camo pants, but it was a little too warm for that. And of course, not ONE of my bandmates wore camo. If I'd worn camo, so would everyone else. I've actually had to change shirts before a gig because our vocalist wore the same shirt. I should have overruled him based on seniority.

I'm guilty too. I hardly ever wear anything other than camo shorts, usually with a black tank top.
