My band SuperNote played as the first act in a three band lineup at Club Tops in Yokohama last night.
As it was a Sunday, the show started early. Doors at 17:30, on stage at 18:00. There were about 20 people in the joint when we started playing. I would rather have 20 people show up to a 50 person capacity club than have 100 people show up at a 2000 person capacity club
I played my DK2M through a Marshall JCM2000, with a Zoom GFX-5 (which I only used for delay and wah) in the effects loop, and adjusted the amount of gain using the volume knob on the guitar. My tone was killer through the monitors, but after we got off stage, the people in the audience said that the sound was muddy through the house PA, so it was hard to distinguish between the bass and guitar. Thanks, PA guy
