The Most Under-rated Band from the 80's and up...

This is MY opinion. But these guys seem to rarely get mentioned, I think of the image and the songs they are known for. The band in question!?!?

Now yah they had a "weird" catch, but I dont think many people listened to their later stuff to appreciate Blackie's genius..

There were SOO many good tunes...

If you listen to the later stuff, theres a lot of slower melodic/lyrically inspired songs. I think my favourite song of all time is "The Great Misconceptions of Me" It's a complete epic masterpiece IMO.

Many people have never heard their later stuff. Some is hit and miss like any band, but other stuff is EXCELLENT song writing and VERY good. I really think more people should check it out. A band like Ratt wrote generic music (that was great!!) and they are still brought up a lot, but a band like WASP was put on the shelf as a gimmic band who dressed like freaks and and all that.

the scorpions. they are in their 4th decade and their new album is heavy and awesome!!!!! sure theyhave had some turds, but most of their albums from the 70's are killer. through the 80's they were pretty good. the 90's? ehhh....but with "unbreakable" and now "humanity - hour 1" they have proven they can still rip it up!!

plus their shows are GREAT!!!! how often do you see 60 year old dudes jumping around on stage?!?!?!
