I have a couple of neck throughs, and a few bolt ons. Either way is ok with me, though I have found the bolt ons to be a little "faster". I would love to get a soloist CS with a speed neck.

+1 A good guitar is a good guitar! I've played great, new Custom Shop Les Pauls that sell for >$10,000. I've played great century old classicals worth over $100K, and I've played great used Epiphone Les Pauls Specials that I got for under a hundred bucks. You never know exactly how a guitar is going to play or sound until you put it in your hands.
