"It's not pollution that's killing our environment, it's the impurities in the air and water" - Al Gore.

Bush is not the real power or the real threat. Congress is. Congress can do so much more damage (and has) than a mere President. The office of the President is just to have a scapegoat for the bigger screwups that Congress generates. I almost puked when I heard a Congressman call for withdrawal from Iraq because he didn't want to see his son beheaded on national TV.

Yes, Bush is undereducated. So what? Looked around this board lately? Any internet board? Looked at the public school system lately? Do you know why there is such blatant illiteracy? Do you know who fought to reduce the educational standards to almost nothing?

    Congress.

They call 'em "Bushisms." Apparently he recently referred to Australian troops as "Austrians." LMAO

        He's cracking me up
I guess his advisers must slap themselves on their heads every day. I'd be embarrassed to leave the house with him

"I want to thank my friend, Senator Bill Frist, for joining us today. You're doing a heck of a job. You cut your teeth here, right? That's where you started practicing? That's good. He married a Texas girl, I want you to know. Karyn is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me." --George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., May 27, 2004

At least congress has a great sense of humor, by putting Bush in the White House

Since I very much enjoy the posts of most of you on other topics, and since I'd probably really enjoy sitting down for a beer with all of you, I thought I'd just put this here rather than anything else:

Political, Religious, Racial , threads have all been removed from this forum in the past. We have a rule specifically stating these types of posts are frowned upon because they are offensive to some and cause division among the members of this board.

Per our rules political and religious threads are not allowed here and racially driven posts have been added to that rule. The simple reason is that people get overly passionate about their views and this ends up causing battles amongst the membership. People have gone so far as to quit over it

If people feel the need to leave the JCF over the views that are driven down their throats from the people here, then the rules need to be enforced strictly without warning. I myself find it hard to believe in this day and age that a discussion needs to be protected by "freedom of speech" when it is offensive in nature to some members.

It wasn't congress, it was the supreme court

Vass, lighten up. As for me, I don't couch my political views in ways to flame anybody. As soon as the fire gets that hot, then it's just "bloviating". I say what I think, but I try never to let it get personal. I've been around political argument way too long for that. I love to debate ideas, and flaming the opposition is just a bottomless pit of mental masturbation, to quote the red one.

Bravo! Yeah, most of the people with Irrational Bush Hatred Syndrome are pretty much illiterate.

It's almost endearing in a way. I caught a video of him saying "internets" and "the google to pull up maps" and I swear my heart melted when he said that.

That's where he got his popularity, people can connect to him and his "illiteracy"/dyslexia.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.
