Just watch his press conferences, live. When he is not reading a prompter, he's quick, and articulate. I'm watching one right now, and he's kind of pissed, I think. Too much garbage coming out of congress, and misrepresention in the US press has gotten him going.

I talked to him..and my hair made him laugh.
Umm..that's not really a newsflash."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

George is a good ol' boy and he speaks like one. I'm sure he is intelligent. I'm also sure that he has had a group of "Old Pros" guiding his presidency. His problem has always been he has listened too much to the "Pros". His legacy may be less about the man than who he listened to.I am a true ass set to this board.

Just remember someone writes his scripts. He doesn't write his speeches. No prez haa done that for decades. The spin doctors have done George II a great disservice(sp). It would have been a gas for him to really say what he really feels. In a backhanded way, I feel sorry for the Kennybunkport cowboy.:ROTF:I am a true ass set to this board.

Doesn't surprise me.
I know his problem. I can read very well.
A 300 page book in 4 hours is not a problem.
And I can read a prompter.
But to truly speak, and speak well,
I cannot use notes, or use the prompter.
That's how these three awards came about.
Oh, and a little help from the JCF community.
