Very cool.
I have been a fan of Les Paul for a very long time. When I was about 14, I inherited an Akai reel to reel, 7 inch, and within about a year, I had done done nothing more than put a switch in the wire of the recording head so I could do my own "sound-on-sound", basic multi track recording. And then I got a volume, an old GP publication, which I still have, that detailed Les Paul's experiments in recording technology. I was somewhat aware of how it was done, but I realized he had covered all this ground before. I am proud to see he is being properly recognized in his lifetime, as he is a true gentleman, and a great innovator. Thank you, Sully, he's a wonderful force.
