it's the 8 days off that is exactly what will kill this world series and it will be another boring 4 game sweep like the Cardinal series in that year of 2004 that everyone is still talking about. I don't get it, i never heard a thing about 2004, much less the red Sox winning the world series as well. 2004? I recall no such year, and I've been to libraries, nothing there to show me anything that anything is different. I'll put up my series "take it to the bank" preview if Sully will call me back , it's been 4 months, so I guess no series preview. Wake is not on the WS roster unfortunately Tommy. He was pretty broken up about it but said that all of his doctors said if he pitches it could affect the rest of his life. Not his career, his life.
So i guess it must be something very serious. For him to not play in the WS it must be killing him. He will still get a ring if they win obviously but i'm sure he wants to be out there. Ultimate class act in my book.

The yankees beat the Indians 6 games to 0 during the regular season, and the yankees beat the Red Sox 10 out of the last 12 during the regular season, and couldn't get the job done once again, the regular season means nothing , and i hope I'm not losing control completely, but I am an American league fan and was thinking about rooting for the sox, but I just don't think I can bring myself to do it. This long layover i think truly hurts the Rockies and helps the Sox in the long run, jusy my opinion, I have no crystal ball, if so, I'd be in Vegas reaping the rewards.

You beat Beckett on a bad outing. IIRC that was the game where he had to leave with a blister on his finger. This is a problem he has done a good job at controlling this year. Because of the blister his curveball was off badly,
