They get Yuengling in SC? Wow. It's everywhere up here, since it's brewed in PA. It's the best beer that you can always get everywhere. Molson Canadian is a tad better IMO though.

The best beer I've ever had was in Munich. It is the Yngwie to every U.S. beer's Mr Cool Ice.

It's still relatively difficult to find, large beer stores carry it. Black & Tan six packs are everywhere, for 7.99 or so, but the cans are a bargain, for the taste.
I usually drink Molson Canadian when visiting Canada. It's even better on draft, of course, and it's everywhere. It commands a premium price here in SC.
For highest quality, I homebrew. More work, but less expensive. Hefeweisens and Amber lagers are amongst my favorite recipes.
