I was lucky enough to buy some cool light bulbs on the cheap. This pic was lighted by a GE reveal 120 indoor floodlight. To me, it looks like the guitar does in person. What do you guys think? I'm just experimenting with my fancy camera.

I'd say it's a pretty fine indoor pic, a little red but pleasant to the eye. Indoor pics usually sucks but yours is good. If you can set the color temperature, play around with it.
In the old days, guys would have used tungsten film in the camera to match (or compensate) for the tungsten bulb you are using, eliminating a lot of the orange light you have there.

I think they would have balanced it something like this (gave it a tiny bit of sharpness too):

I agree. It needs to refined. It is a little too red. Here is why I am asking. I am so sick of looking at pics of guitars on ebay or whatever that really don't show what the guitar really looks like in the real world. Shit. I can't do what you just did.:ROTF:Last edited by fett; 10-24-2007, 06:20 PM.I am a true ass set to this board.

Maybe you can't, but this pic of yours is one helluva lot better than the muddy crap we see on eBay. Congrats, bro, your pic will help sell that guitar for shure (if so).
